Scope: 

  • This position exists to develop, implement and assist in Accounts, Book Keeping & Audit function.
  • To organize, implement, lead and control the activities of audit and accounts with the company’s business strategy. It’s critical that all interested candidates must have hand on experience in QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Candidates having more than 3 years of experience in operating QuickBooks will be given preference and encouraged to apply.  

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain bookkeeping of financial transactions by establishing chart of accounts; defining policies and procedures.
  • Maintains subsidiary companies accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations of all bank accounts.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, Sales, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prospective candidate must have hands on experience of accounting / book keeping software i.e. ERP, QuickBooks or In house accounting software.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Auditing experience.
  • Compliance oriented.
  • Proficiency in accounting software especially QuickBooks.
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills

Experience:

  • Interested candidates must have at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Candidates having more than 3 years of experience in operating QuickBooks will be given preference and encouraged to apply.
