We are looking for Hands-on Linux & Network administrator in Espoo to work with IT to support R&D infra. Specifically the engineer would be accountable for working with the rest of the team to develop and operate both internal R&D platforms as well as external-facing backends.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar area required
- Previous work experience in devops roles and environments with end-to-end technical responsibility in defining, developing, and operating complex systems is preferred
- Over 5 years of experience with Linux, Unix system admin cloud technologies, virtualization, infrastructure automation, and monitoring
- Autonomous, self-driven person with high level of initiative and ability to deliver results against aggressive deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a passion for documenting environments
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
From a technical perspective, experiences with the following technologies are preferred:
- Linux system administration in Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu for Installation, automation, Scripting, patch Management
- Network administration of switches, routers, firewalls
- Firewall management creating security policies, monitoring and threat analysis
- Public and private cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and OpenStack
- Scripting experience with e.g. Python, shell scripting
- Automation and configuration management with e.g. Salt, Puppet, or Chef
- Source configuration management with git (familiarity with GitHub or BitBucket)
- Continuous infrastructure integration and deployment with Jenkins, Travis CI or others
- Application and infrastructure monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics
The selected candidates will be sent to Finland for an onsite implementation. All visa, travel and accomodation expenses will be covered by our company and excellent salary package will be provdied
