We are looking for a Data Warehousing and ETL expert. The resource should have good experience in implementing a large data warehousing project. He/She should have hands on experience with ETL processes and best practices. He/She should have experience with atleast one of the major Data Warehousing platforms like Teradata, Oracle etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations and priorities of each member of the team, including ETL Architect, Data Architects, Data Warehouse Analyst, and Extract Developer.
- Translate requirements, source mapping documents, tools, and models into solutions.
- Facilitate code reviews, troubleshoot SQL, understand technical dependencies, and coordinate communications to customers as needed.
- Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Ability to use business and technical knowledge to architect a hosted infrastructure or cloud environment that meets a customer’s business and technical objectives from gathered requirements
- Provide technical expertise In-house Innovation Center
- Integrate customer’s data with third party sources of information when needed
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Create technical proposals to cloud migrations from on-prem for small to mid size customers
- Maintain knowledge of current and future cloud technologies
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science
- ETL and Data Warehousing
- strong SQL scripting, stored procedures and functions
- Public Cloud Vendor certifications (Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Professional Cloud Architect, or MCSE)
- Experience in systems administration experience in a small to mid IT environment
- Great communication skills
Not Required but Plus skills
- Experience with Informatica will be plus
- Experience with data visualization tools Qlikview, PowerBI
- Experience Data-Integration Tools focused on Azure like Azure Data Services,
- Azure Data Factory etc.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as machine learning, SQL, Hive, Pig
- Experience with databases such as Azure DWH, Redshift is an added advantage
- Data-oriented personality
