About the Role
- The ideal candidate is required to have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
- This candidate should have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
- The role is based in Karachi, Pakistan and reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
- The candidate will be part of the Marketing team, and will be responsible for developing visual concepts to communicate, improve understanding, and engage customers of Befiler.
- We are actively in search of a visual storyteller with the passion to use creative ideas to connect with our target audience and specifically create a connection between them and tax knowledge.
- A knack for attention to detail, and ability to self-start is a must.
- Examples of tasks include designing the graphic elements for social media campaign, editing and animating short videos for awareness campaigns, rebranding old materials to communicate current tax information, and working with the Marketing Manager to execute and/or define the direction of the company’s creative strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a strong grasp and adhere to our brand elements.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to provide in-time creatives for social media, and partnership campaigns
- Edit and animate videos
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs as needed including advertisements, collaterals for sales team, campaigns, etc.
- Making advanced presentations with animations and story building
- infographics and motion graphics
- Work on eLearning softwares (DominKnow Flow, Claro, Prezi etc)
Key Requirements and skills
- Minimum of 3 years in the design industry
- A strong portfolio of graphic design and video production/editing
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Strong Graphic Design skills with experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere or AfterEffects programs
- Ability to work with Vector graphics, video editing and motion graphics
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to provide and receive feedback, and support and sharpen the creative briefs
- Strong written and verbal skills in English
Experience Required
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw).
- Animation & video editing (PremierPro).
- Understanding of digital design including Email, Web, CSS, WordPress and HTML.
- Experience with motion design and principles preferred
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short deadlines.
- Strong attention to details.
