Job Description

  •  
  • Develop & sustain Askari Air Pakistan's Vision, Mission & Strategy
  • Responsible & accounable to the Executive Director
  • Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members as well as interfacing between Board and management members. Report to board on organizational plans and performance
  • Developing and instituting department policies and procedures – including basic company policies, procedures and objectives – into departmental functions
  • Monitor profitability and growth of the company and achieve financial objectives. Recommends yearly budget for the Chairman and Board approvals and prudently manages organization's resources within the budget guidelines and according to policies and procedures. Ensure that necessary finance and other resources are available to meet company’s commitment to its stakeholders.
  • Supervise each management member to ensure that they are carrying out their duties and responsibilities set by the company in a manner meeting the corporate mission and objectives. Communicate to each member the company’s development plans and its impact and obtain feedback
  • Liaise with Government & other relevant regulatory agencies/authorities for all necessary licenses
  • Overall in charge of Company’s financial, operational, administrative controls, HR matters etc.
  • Effectively represent the company and liaise with all external agencies as required
  • Report directly to the Governing Board and the owners of Askari Air Pakistan  
  • Providing leadership and direction to flight and maintenance personnel to ensure personal performance and competence
  • Establishing programs for pilots and maintenance technicians, including proficiency reviews, initial training, recurrent training and upgrade training
  • Ability to interpret IATA regulations
  • Professional standards of discretion, confidentiality and privacy with respect to internal communications and company information
