Job Overview
- As CEO, he will assume responsibilities of CEO of AWT’s, one of the Business Units (AE), doing Trading business. The company is operating as code of Corporate Governance and Company’s Ordinance 1984 and other relevant regulations.
- Plans, coordinates, directs, monitors and responsible for managing operations of Askari Enterprises to meet diversified civil/military requirements & supply chain requirements. He will ensure the Business Unit functions smoothly and he will give proper strategic direction as well as revamp a vision for success leading to profitability.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Devising high quality business strategies and tactics to explore business opportunities, ensuring their alignment with short-term & long-term objectives
- Formulating best SOPs for AE while abiding AWT policies and SOPs
- Hands on experience in business development, contract management and supply chain management
- Participate in relevant tendering activities from start to end
- Wisely manages BU while maintaining the budget guidelines, risk factors identification
- Study thoroughly all contracts and get vetted by relevant department (RM , Finance, Audit, Legal, HR) as applicable
- Overseeing all AE’s operations and activities of supply/trading of defense and other equipment/stores to cater demand accordingly
- Leading and motivating subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop high performing managerial team
- Maintain deep knowledge of the relevant markets, industry practices, competitors analysis to remain receptive in order to target business
- Monitor BU’s profitability & growth of AE and achieve financial objectives compliance with AWT SOPs in line with Business Unit’ (BUs) financial budget with approval of AWT Management and apprise the AWT Board accordingly
- Coordinate and liaison with relevant authorities including GHQ, Civil Authorities and other (internal & external) stack holders etc
- Overall in charge of BU’s financial, operational, administrative controls, HR, sales, procurement, supply, marketing, revenue budgeting activities as per standard norms etc
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
- Experience in administrative/supply chain/business development capacity. Relevant experience will be a plus.
