- Will take charge from the electrician of the finishing / outgoing shift.
- Will clean electric panel, note down the readings of energy meters and record power factor on the register.
- Will note down the work of three shifts in the logbook.
- Will check all dyeing and spinning motors for overheating of cooling fans.
- Will check and repair panels and motor starters.
- Will keep the generator in working condition and carryout weekly maintenance.
- Will check all tube lights and fans daily.
- Will check for any loose or open connections daily.
- Will carryout weekly check of water and air filters.
- Will rectify any electrical fault in a machine or report to ESE if the fault repair is beyond him.
