JOB PURPOSE
To supervise and oversee procurement, inventory management and operations oversight for all established offices, Pharmacies and Labs of MedAsk. The role will also be responsible for team building and capacity enhancement of the team.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To supervise and oversee procurement, inventory management, stores and operations oversight for all established offices, Pharmacies and Labs of MedAsk.
- Responsible for all Procurement & Inventory Management activities from demand forecasting to the delivery of material and services complying with all applicable laws and rules.
- Review and revamp the procurement and stores functions ensuring timely and sustainable supply chain of goods and services and reducing procurement cycle and cost.
- Develop key performance Indicators for concerned individuals and ensure performance targets are achieved.
- Provide specialist advice, guidance & service on leading procurement practices.
- Define & manage key supplier relationships to deliver breakthrough performance in cost, service & quality.
- Will support development, organization and implementation of Standard Operational
- Procurement Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance in accordance with theaffiliated hospital, Government regulations and with accepted international standards of good procurement practices.
- Establish quality specifications for all drugs and chemicals purchased for MedAsk Pharmacies and labs,Responsible for materials management of MedAsk Pharmacies and Labs.
- Ensure implementation and smooth running of Procurement module in ERP.
- Oversee maintenance of appropriate records in order to assure that the quality, quantity and timeliness of work done can be documented and ensure timely preparation of routine daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and returns from all business units.
- Seek compliance with outside agencies relevant to requirements for maintenance of services.
- Support plan for both short and long-range goals of the department in concert with the whole organizational plan of MedAsk.
