- Ensure the timely flow of materials delivery schedules to both materials replenishment & material warehouse function.
- Define all materials inventory levels based on materials delivery leads times and forecasted production plans.
- Plan in coordination with materials warehouse function the availability of the adequate storage capacity for the targeted inventory levels.
- Control the materials inventory working capital in coordination with the Finance function to maintain healthy cash flow for the business.
- Monitor the replenishment function performance by issuing tracking reports for materials actual delivery verses delivery plans and reporting variances.
- Monitor closely materials acceptance and rejection rates in the manufacturing plants.
- Ensure the timely issuance of suppliers’ performance tracking reports and develop the required action plans for performance continuous improvement.
- Lead key performance indicators (Materials availability, Delivery compliance, Inventory carrying cost).
- Establish and maintain a standard of performance for the Supply Chain.
- Ensure the alignment of the Materials Management organization with the company vision, purpose and priorities.
- Drive organization capability agenda in coordination with HR and operations capability.
- Develop and implement Materials Management Best Practice and Processes.
