Job Overview:
We require an experienced software quality assurance officer or engineer to perform complex testing tasks requiring planning, scheduling and testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications and are within the quality management standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Review and analyse system requirement specifications document.
• Participate in Test Planning.
• Prepare Test Scenarios and test cases and prioritize testing activities.
• Execute all the test cases and report defects, define severity and priority of each defect.
• Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix the bugs.
• Write, execute, and report on API tests and back end database testing.
• Work with in-house support team to diagnose and resolve customer and internal issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Strong agile experience of testing in a commercial environment with crossfunctional teams.
• A sound understanding of agile testing methodologies and of defect management.
• Testing online applications.
• Installing and configuring software.
• An excellent eye for UI design.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, TFS/JIRA, Defect Management Tools.
