The ideal candidate will ensure smooth document management, proper user access control, and efficient organisation of institutional files and workflows to support collaboration across departments.
The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a secure, structured, and user-friendly digital workspace for staff and administrative teams. The role includes organising files, folders, and document libraries in a systematic manner while ensuring data accuracy and accessibility within the SharePoint platform.
The candidate will manage user permissions and access levels to maintain security and confidentiality of institutional information. Responsibilities also include monitoring content organisation, maintaining version control, and supporting workflow management to improve operational efficiency across departments.
The role requires regular monitoring of SharePoint site performance, performing routine maintenance tasks, and removing outdated or duplicate content to keep the system organised and efficient. The candidate should also maintain basic backup and recovery procedures to help protect institutional data and ensure continuity of operations.
In addition, the SharePoint Administrator will provide technical support to staff for daily SharePoint usage and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth digital collaboration. Familiarity with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 integration, and content management best practices will be considered an advantage.
