Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman Board, the Chief Technology Officer, of AskTech (Pvt) Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary of Askari General Insurance Co. Ltd., will drive technology innovation, operations efficiency, and superior customer experience capabilities for the company and will be responsible for all the technology systems, processes and development within the company in multiple domains including but not limited to Vehicle Telematics, Vehicle Tracking and Fleet Management Solution, IT (Hardware and Software) Solutions, Document Digitization Solution and Home Security & Automation Solutions.
Job Description:
· Oversee the company’s technology development, its technology utilization plan and managing all information technology resources of the company
· Anticipate and manage major technology changes in the market and advise senior management on changes necessary to ensure company leadership in the competitive landscape
· Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for superior customer service and new product development
· Be the custodian of the brand and be responsible for product management and development, business systems and technical support
· Lead the strategy for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships
· Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics and system infrastructure
· Deploy and implement a disaster recovery plan in the event of a breach
