We are seeking an experienced academic professional with a strong background in education management and teaching to join our institution. The ideal candidate will have an MS or M.Phil degree in Education or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university, along with 8 to 9 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to those with prior management roles at the university level. This position requires comprehensive coordination and oversight of academic programs to ensure their smooth operation and adherence to institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage program coordination data, including faculty workload, course lists, and faculty allocation, encompassing shared faculty and TVFs. Develop and oversee the academic timetable to ensure efficient scheduling. Compile and submit reports and returns related to the Academics Directorate. Serve as a liaison by coordinating with all schools and entities within the institution. Update and implement curriculum changes, maintain a repository of working papers for offered programs, and manage documentation required by accreditation bodies. Organize and conduct Departmental Board of Study meetings. Prepare the academic calendar and monitor academic activities institution-wide. Assist in organizing internal meetings related to UCAP, UCRC, and UCRIP. Process institution-sponsored working papers and perform any additional academic tasks assigned by the principal.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of an MS or M.Phil degree in Education or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university is mandatory. Candidates should have 8 to 9 years of experience in academic management or teaching, preferably with exposure to university-level management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong presentation abilities. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
