The HR & Admin Officer/Manager is a crucial member of the organization responsible for managing human resource functions alongside ensuring smooth daily administrative operations. This role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll, office administration, and compliance with company policies. Serving as a bridge between management and employees, the HR & Admin lead promotes a positive work environment that aligns with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate shortlisting, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees. Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy. Oversee attendance and leave management systems to ensure compliance with company policies. Prepare monthly payroll, generate salary slips, and administer employee benefits efficiently. Draft and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and other HR-related documents. Address employee grievances, conduct disciplinary procedures, and resolve conflicts professionally while maintaining confidentiality. Conduct performance appraisals and support the implementation of performance management systems. Organize staff training, development programs, and employee engagement activities. Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and internal HR policies. Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive HR information.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Supervise overall office operations, including housekeeping, security, maintenance, and supply management. Manage vendor relationships and oversee service contracts related to office supplies, utilities, and repairs. Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and company events to ensure smooth execution. Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of office facilities and assets. Maintain accurate records of company equipment, assets, and inventory. Assist management in preparing official letters, reports, and documentation as required. Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the workplace. Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to provide comprehensive administrative support.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, with preference given to those with experience in the SaaS or technology industry. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace applications is required. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and office administration best practices. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity is critical. Excellent people management, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are also important.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 per month and requires on-site presence.
