We are looking for a committed professional to oversee the entire merchandising process for designated customers, ensuring smooth coordination from the initial inquiry through to order fulfillment. This role demands a thorough understanding of customer requirements, clear communication with buyers, and careful management of pre-production sampling and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of garment processes and excellent organizational skills to meet critical deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising & Customer Coordination:
Handle all merchandising tasks for assigned customers, converting their needs into detailed pre-production sampling plans. Maintain regular communication with buyers to update them on sampling progress, approvals, and timelines, ensuring expectations are met.

Pre-Production Sampling:
Oversee the creation of pre-production samples in line with customer specifications. Monitor quality at every stage and track sample requests daily to guarantee timely completion and approvals.

Fabric & Trim Procurement:
Work closely with Fabric Sourcing and MMC teams to ensure timely procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories. Keep a proactive watch on material availability to avoid delays in sampling and production schedules.

Technical Expertise:
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of washing, dyeing, and garment finishing processes tailored to customer demands. Maintain a strong understanding of fashion garments, including both denim and non-denim categories.

Timeline & Approval Management:
Monitor key milestones such as sampling, approvals, and arrival of trims and fabrics. Conduct proactive follow-ups to prevent bottlenecks and consistently meet delivery commitments.

Reporting & Systems Management:
Prepare detailed merchandising reports, time and action (T&A) calendars, and progress updates for management review. Efficiently use ERP and WFX systems for order tracking, data entry, and workflow management. Employ MS Office tools for documentation, analysis, and presentations.

Analysis & Problem Solving:
Conduct root-cause analysis to identify delays or quality issues. Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, or
- MBA with a specialization in Marketing
