- Assist in monitoring compliance with existing company polices and statutory regulations to create deterrent control environment.
- Pre Audit of every debit to bank including markups and all stores, to ensure the controls over purchase cycle, and to avoid any duplicate payment.
- Periodic analysis of payables and receivables and highlighting the discrepancy, if any.
- Pre payments vouching to ensure payment authenticity for every head of account and follow up for setting them off.
- Detailed vouching to verify the completeness and existence.
- Assist in highlighting the old aged receivables, trace the reasons and establish time lines to settle them.
- Conduct surprise stock count at company’s warehouses.
- Gauging existing practices and policies, to find control weakness therein and suggesting improvements there by.
- Highlight control weaknesses in different areas of the business and their documentary trail, e.g. clearing agents, imports and consumption of services.
- Objecting and rectification of HR expenses by verifying it on sample basis.
- Report the audit findings to Senior Manager Internal Audit.
