The Internal Audit Officer plays a key role in enhancing the company's operational effectiveness by evaluating internal control systems and compliance adherence. This position requires close coordination with various departments to collect audit-related information and to monitor the implementation of corrective action plans based on audit findings. The candidate should hold a relevant professional qualification such as ACCA or CA Inter/CAF and have a strong command of MS Excel and ERP systems. High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently without managing a team are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and executing internal audit assignments.
- Review financial transactions, records, and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance procedures.
- Perform reconciliations and verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Identify risks, control weaknesses, and operational inefficiencies.
- Prepare audit reports and document audit findings.
- Follow up on audit observations and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments to obtain audit-related information.
- Support management in strengthening governance and risk management processes.
- ACCA (Part Qualified, Finalist, or Qualified) preferred.
- CA Inter / CAF candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant audit experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
