As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for generating profitable business from the vast array of batteries. Generate sales / market of batteries within an assigned territory. The work involved is related to the overall management and general business operations of the sales function. The candidate will anticipate how the local market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Batteries products and services.
- Able to work with little or no supervision. Self-motivated and able to handle customers within assigned territory.
- Develops sales of products and/or services by researching and resolving customer problems, researching and recommending vendors, recommending modification to the product/service line and coordinating sales negotiations with appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate and manage marketing efforts: tradeshows, websites, marketing materials, etc.
- Coordinate internal and external company communications.
- Ability to prospect for new business.
- Give presentations to generate new business and future business.
- Attend key industry events such as conferences and trade shows.
- Maintain relationships with national and international clients through regular contact, fielding of general questions and delivering marketing material.
- Coordinate proposal activities and interact closely with technical and management personnel.
- Must be highly motivated, hardworking, and tenacious and be prepared to develop opportunities individually as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure to demanding timescales.
