JOB SUMMARY
If you are an expert enterprise technology consultant and can help our customers solve their data management challenges, Astera wants to work with you. The Head of Professional Services is responsible for the successful delivery of consulting services and management of customer engagements.
It’s a strategic part of our company that helps drive our growth through the success of our customer base. The Services we deliver are designed to provide guidance, best practices and help our customers scale their deployments across an enterprise.
What You’ll Do
- Provide a high-level project plan and relevant documentation
- Analyze, understand, and deliver on the requirements of project stakeholders, including customers and end-users
- Conduct requirements analysis for the project and set milestones to implement the set project plan effectively
- Help drive decisions for refinement activity to ensure that project deliverable are in line with customer goals, objectives, and expected value
- Provide pre-sales technical and integration support to sales staff
- Establish and maintain a professional relationship with customer’s IT and business executives to facilitate honest and timely communication
- Ensure successful delivery of consultation services, mainly through effective customer engagement and management
- Ensure that all assigned team members have a solid understanding of the client’s business objectives and the plans in place to attain those objectives
- Meet set revenue targets by focusing on growth in the assigned accounts
- Develop Best Practices based on field experience
What You’ll Need?
- 7-10 years experience in technical project management, professional services and consulting, process/resource management consulting, and/or customer relationship management
- Must have experience of working with overseas customers’ especially the North American market.
- Bachelors or equivalent degree in a business, technical, or related field
- Ability to manage and conduct resource requirements analysis.
- Prior experience in participating in the delivery of technology services engagements, including engagement management experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage technical personnel and processes associated with enterprise software
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, assist, manage effectively, and retain consultants
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels (including written, oral, and presentation skills)
- Demonstrated Experience in Data Management or Solution development & deployment in the areas of data migration, data integration, application integration, or data quality
- Interact effectively with both technical and non-technical members of the team
