We are looking for a hard working and talented senior PHP Developer who can lead a team of 12 PHP Developers. You will play an integral role in maintaining and improving all our projects, and mentor junior staff in your team as needed. As a team lead, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Producing detailed specifications
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics
- Motivate team members
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
- Must be able to lead team of 12 members, and assign break down projects into testable tasks that can be completed by individual members of the team
- Setting clear team goals for members of the team that can be verified.
- Delegating tasks and set deadlines for your internal team
- You should have sufficient experience in OOP Based PHP to effectively help other team members. You should be able to work with framework or in CORE PHP (i.e no framework)
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science
- 5+ years with object-oriented programming in PHP.
- Complex SQL queries and database schema design.
- MVC frameworks (Laravel, Zend, Yii etc.).
- Working in a collaborative team environment using tools like JIRA and Git.
- Knowledge of consuming and creating web services.
- Knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection and XSS.
- Stable work history and an ability to lead team effectively.
