Atmos is on a mission to simplify the smart home. Over the last few years, we’ve seen a plethora of new connected devices introduced into our homes, however, for every new device we add, we also add another app, hub, or voice command to control it with, making interacting with multiple devices confusing at best.
Atmos is solving this problem with the introduction of its smart home control system. Essentially, it’s a touch, voice, and gesture activated, wall-mounted control panel for your entire connected home, eliminating the need to navigate your smart home with your phone or remember hundreds of voice commands. Simply put, it’s the ultimate smart home control center.
We are seeking an experienced Android application engineer at Atmos to create awesome user-facing features that will ship on thousands of hardware devices. As an Android engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with designers and product management to build ideas and bring them to life. You will have full responsibility for Android development. You’ll brainstorm new features, test them, launching early builds to production, fix bugs, and work on improvements.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 Years of experience with the Android framework
- Knowledge of Android performance tools and optimization techniques
- Experience shipping high-quality consumer software
Bonus:

- Hardware / IoT / Connected Home interfacing experience
