This job is a remote working opportunity. We are a small service company located in Texas. We specialize in piano tuning, moving, repair, and restoration.
Do not apply to this position unless you have very reliable internet service with high bandwidth. The job will require you to share your screen and to converse over Skype or Zoom. We will consider paying for your internet service, depending on your qualifications and experience. If we are unable to reach you consistently, due to internet issues, we will terminate your employment. You will be required to download and run monitoring software on your computer to track your work. We will not accept excuses for lack of connectivity or communication.
We will pay bi-weekly, through whichever method you prefer and that is available to us.
You must submit a writing sample, completely original, on the following topic. "How to select a good used piano." You may also submit other examples of writing you have done in the past. You must be able to write well to be considered for this position
You must be available for at least 4 hours during CST standard working hours from 9-5.
You will have the following duties and responsibilities
- Follow up by text and email to current and former customers
- Do research through historical texts and general internet queries to complete text content for the website
- Write brief articles on historic companies based on research
- Do local marketing research in our area, compiling lists of potential customers
- Meet once or twice weekly through Skype, Zoom, or What's App
- Complete detailed reports concerning the work completed
