Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Review and contribute to software program documentation(Test cases, Test Plans, and Scripts).
Record detailed metrics and track outcomes of the testing process.
Proactively participate in recommending development changes for improving software/application.
Logging and describing issues and Interacting with developers to resolve issues discovered.
Effectively communicate Bugs/Test results in writing.
Perform different types of software tests including Usability, Performance, Cross Browsers, and Platforms.
Strong concepts of Functional testing (black box, unit, regression, system, interface, smoke and User Acceptance Testing).
Test Automation skills for the web app testing, including writing/augmenting. Selenium scripts would be considered a plus.

Required skills

Excellent communication skills; written and spoken English.
Sound knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology (Scrum).
Highly self-motivated individual with a strong commitment to meet deadlines and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Understanding of UML diagrams and other artifacts.
Strong analytical and leadership skills
