• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and preserved all subsidiary records
• Prepare disbursement vouchers for payments, and journal vouchers to records accounting entries.
• Timely & accurately recording all accounting adjustments, such as prepaid expenses, advances, provisions/accruals, etc. to reflect the true financial health of the company.
• Reconciliation of bank statements, suppliers & customers’ accounts on weekly & monthly basis.
• Prepare the Monthly Stock reports through running and actively participating in the monthly stock takings for the inventory Control.
• Prepare of management reports to facilitate decision making process.
• Monitor and control preparation of monthly payroll and benefits for all staff.
• Scrutiny of Debtors & Creditors ledger and follow-ups for collections and updated records.
• Preparation of Receivable Aging Reports and Payments of Creditors on or before due date.
• Reconciliation of Suppliers, Debtors & Inter branch accounts.
• Checking all transactions for the integrity and correctness of data entered by other departments.
• Finalization of books of accounts in coordination with internal and external auditors.
• Liaising with external auditors for semi-annual/annual financial accounts. • Upholding relations with company’s bankers.
