Job Description:
- This is a Full Stack Database Developer position.
- The job duties, responsibilities, and requirements are as follows below.
- We're looking for someone who has the strong technical knowledge, good experience and outstanding interpersonal and team skills
- The ideal candidate has mature .NET and SQL Server development skills; is a proactive, confident and positive team member who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment;
- Experience with Scrum, Test Driven Development, and with a specific focus on SQL server development.
- The position is responsible for estimating, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementing new programs or changes to existing programs in a .NET CORE WEB API application and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- The primary emphasis for this position is knowledge of SQL server, but full-stack capabilities are the expectation.
- The Database Developer plays a key role in the design and development of data processing and management systems that supports our products.
- Interpret business user requests and provide solutions that fit within corporate and development standards and goals
- Determine the scope of projects, design appropriate solutions and prepare project estimates
- Scope, plan and manage all aspects of a project, such as development, quality control, design, implementation, training, and delivery.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL development methodologies especially in T-SQL and ability to design efficient data models
- Experienced in Design, create and manage data modeling and database schema in accordance with business requirements
- Expert level skills with Relational Databases (Microsoft SQL in particular)
- Experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases
- Demonstrated track record of building solutions with Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Possess a deep knowledge of code optimization and performance tuning
- Experience working with data integrations that utilize web services and file transfer endpoints
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Stored Procedures, Reusable Functions, Dynamic SQL Execution.
- Knowledge database security practices.
- The candidate must understand how to write a data marts and how to structure the data for performance for a large number of users.
- Provide recommendations for ongoing tuning of the environment based on growth projections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to efficiently communicate with technology and business team members
- Familiarity with ETL & BI tools will be a plus

- Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
