We are looking for an experienced and passionate Magento Certified Developer with 1-4 years of industry experience.
As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, Must have expertise in theme and extension customization/development.
We are expecting you to have a strong understanding of Magento architecture and data flow.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Setup and configure Magento 1.X or Magento 2.X sites.
Develop Magento websites based on requirements given
Customize 3rd party Magento extensions
Diagnose and fix bugs in Magento websites
Customize Magento functionalities by following Magento standards
Optimize speed of Magento by identifying and fixing bottlenecks.
Develop and manage e-commerce websites, web applications & web sites.
Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications.
Participate in project & deployment planning.
Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
Desired Skills:
Proficient in Object Oriented PHP, MVC, Javascript, jQuery, KnockoutJS, PrototypeJS,UnderscoreJS, MySQL, HTML and CSS
Experience in developing Magento extensions and themes
Deep understanding of the Magento architecture and data flow
Thorough understanding of Magento concepts of Layouts, Blocks, Models, Controllers, Helpers, Observers etc
Understands the ORM concepts and database structure of Magento
Knows how to extend Magento functionalities including REST APIs
Demonstrable knowledge of API integration, Payment Gateways, Shipping, Checkout customization etc
Understands the performance bottlenecks of Magento and ability to write optimized code
Can work in Linux environments
Good knowledge of GIT concepts and operations
Knows how to consume 3rd party RESTful/SOAP services
