We are recruiting Urdu-English and Punjabi-English telephone interpreters to service healthcare, customer service, and government-services calls for a wide variety of corporate clients in the United States.
The schedule is somewhat flexible and the job is perfectly suitable for working from home, but a minimum availability of 40 hours per week is required. Candidates must be available Monday to Friday, from 2:00 am to 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time (PST), i.e., 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Pakistan Time.
Skills
The ideal candidate is a native or advanced English speaker, and a native Urdu or Punjabi speaker; enjoys working from home with a flexible schedule, is self-reliant, articulate, and has good people skills.The candidate must be able to start immediately.Minimum technical requirements
- Functioning computer, smartphone or tablet
- Noise-canceling headset
- Reliable Internet connection
- Access to a quiet room at home for work
Non-essential but highly valued skills
- Experience as a telephone interpreter and/or customer service representative in English
- Experience in a customer service or patient care role in the healthcare sector
