Position Overview
The Production Manager’s main function is to ensure efficient and timely production of articles/collections within budget and to the brand standard. The candidate should be able to plan, organize and control the brand needs while overseeing staffing requirements and will streamline processes for production effectiveness.
Job Duties
- Planning, organizing, Implementing and overseeing the production schedule.
- Analyze production, quality control and budgetary outcome of collections.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments for job completion.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Identifying, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timelines with vendors.
- Should have extensive knowledge of trending styles, fabric and fibers.
- Ensure the restocking, storage and daily management of stock in coordination with the store keeper.
- Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Oversee and review time and attendance of staff, as well as vacation approvals.
- Follow all internal policies and procedures to complete the final production.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information.
