As a Front-End UI/UX Developer at B Data Solutions, you’ll collaborate with the business analyst, Angular developers, product management, customer success, and with other members of the development team to create amazing user experiences with our web and mobile products. Responsibilities:
· Work with the product teams to transform concepts, mockups and prototypes into working, responsive designs that can be user tested, iterated upon, presented to stakeholders, turned over to Angular developers and ultimately be delivered to customers
· Make the design of amazing experiences easy and efficient to use by defining, evaluating, and evolving UI patterns and spearheading our design language system
· Work with customers to understand their expectations of using the P2 Platform
· Work as part of a Design Team to define and develop the product aesthetic and contribute to user experience vision
· Translate visual and written designs into front end components by working collaboratively with design, product and other teams
· Help bring mature applications to a modern day look and feel
· Create a re-useable library of code snippets and documentation to go along with them based on the style and design library / guidelines
· Effectively communicate idea concepts and finished development rationale both visually and verbally
· Create design based development assets such as proofs of concept, prototypes, development documentation, and production-ready code based on the user experience vision and platform capabilities
Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of experience in UI & UX front-end design / development for business or enterprise applications, including designing for web and mobile
· Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science is preferred
· Strong, demonstrable understanding of Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5 and Typescript and the ability to execute accordingly
· An interest in learning Angular 5 is preferred, existing experience is a plus
· Experience with Sketch (design layout tool) preferred
· Extensive capability at UI rendering based on design requirements / redlines and mockups / prototypes
· A front-end developer with an eye for, and opinion on great design who is a technical extension for UX Designer
· Capability to quickly mockup interactive Bootstrap prototypes for proof of concept, design consideration, workflow validation and user testing
· Ability to complete all phases of the development cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
· Ability to plan and manage design work for 2-5 projects at a time; designing for Agile a plus
· Experience using qualitative & quantitative user research methods is a plus
· Ability to work in rapidly growing and changing work environment
· Self-sufficient, detail oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
· Ability to travel up to 10% to P2 locations and customer locations
· Portfolio is a plus - featuring design work that showcases development architecture, interaction development, precisely matching up design to development, and responsive development skills
· Ability to showcase project proofs of concept, prototypes, finished work, documentation / code libraries, demonstrated mastery of Bootstrap, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is preferred
