Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our vehicle repair and maintenance evaluation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  1.   Supervising, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the repair and maintenance work of vehicles in our fleet.
  2.   Determining maintenance and repair priorities based on vehicle conditions and usage patterns, and estimating the cost of major maintenance and repair work.
  3. Conduct regular checks of the vehicles to ensure they are in good condition, and recommend suitable repair and maintenance work to be carried out as required.
  4.   Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all repair and maintenance work.
  5.    Coordinating with other departments and external vendors to procure necessary parts and services, and managing inventory of parts and supplies.
  6.   Conducting performance evaluations of team members and providing coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
  2.  Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  3. Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance principles, procedures, and safety standards.
  4.  Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, management, and external vendors.
  5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  7.  Proficiency in using computer software for tracking and reporting maintenance and repair work.
