Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our vehicle repair and maintenance evaluation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing the repair and maintenance work of vehicles in our fleet.
- Determining maintenance and repair priorities based on vehicle conditions and usage patterns, and estimating the cost of major maintenance and repair work.
- Conduct regular checks of the vehicles to ensure they are in good condition, and recommend suitable repair and maintenance work to be carried out as required.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all repair and maintenance work.
- Coordinating with other departments and external vendors to procure necessary parts and services, and managing inventory of parts and supplies.
- Conducting performance evaluations of team members and providing coaching and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance principles, procedures, and safety standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with team members, management, and external vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Proficiency in using computer software for tracking and reporting maintenance and repair work.
