Job Description

Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
Develop schemes of work and lesson plans
Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
Prepare classroom for class activities
Plan for and prepare resources for educational activities
Use a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
Use relevant and available technology to support instruction
Prepare, administer and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
Update all necessary records, related to students, accurately and completely as required by school policies and regulations
Prepare required reports on students and activities, on a timely basis, as required on software or other prescribed forms
Observe and evaluate student's performance and development to assess and propose the required corrective measures for improvement
Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
Keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment and materials, in order to prevent injuries and damag
