• Be an active and supporting member to maintain the school discipline
  • Co-ordinate the games programme including extra-curricular activities when applicable
  • Promote sport as innovatively as possible, encouraging maximum participation and enthusiasm
  • Deliver PE and Games with Health and Safety
  • Individually teach PE, Games and Sport to a variety of classes  
  •  Keep a clear record of children’s progress in accordance with school and department policy
  • Support the development of a balanced fixture list
  • Support the Sport with tournaments across schools/campuses
  • Offer opportunities for inclusion during fixture list and during lessons
  • Cater for exceptional performance during fixture list and during lessons
  • Ensure lessons are differentiated with Learning Outcomes
  • Support   the planning, organising and delivery of sports day for the school
  • Liaise with maintenance/ground staff to ensure facilities are utilised and they are in a safe working order
  • Attend tournaments and sports tours, arranged sometimes at weekends, throughout the year in: basket ball, Football and Cricket.
  • Ensure all equipment is tidy and in safe working order
  •  Ensure the subject area is adequately resourced
  • Utilise all activity areas
  •  Create an enjoyable and productive teaching environment, through atmosphere and displays
  • Apply new/ current coaching and teaching ideas
  • Attend staff meetings, school events, parents Teacher Meetings
  • Fulfil assigned duties
  • Work as part of a team, with all other members of staff, helping to promote good working relationships
  • Record any relevant communication concerning a child’s sports performance
  • Communicate with parents over meetings
  • Participate in the continuous personal development, participating in appropriate training to maintain up-to-date professional expertise
  •  To be pro-active on behalf of the school in external matters, particularly in relation to those concerning I.A.P.S and local partnerships with schools
  • To be aware of any signs of stress, emotional imbalance or learning difficulties and keep appropriate people informed over these concerns
  • Ensure that each child is working to the best of his/her ability is well disciplined, well mannered, considerate and happy!
  • Carry out all duties as directed by supervisors
