Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Procurement Manager to oversee our company's purchasing activities and ensure that we obtain the best value for our money. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing procurement processes, negotiating contracts, and developing strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery times
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and payment terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on procurement best practices
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure that they are within budget and meet quality standards
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and reduce costs
- Manage and lead a team of procurement professionals to ensure that procurement activities are executed efficiently and effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- atleast 1 year experience of procurement in Construction company
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of procurement professionals
