- Instructional materials, training documentation specifications, processes, standards, forms, workflows, quick references, end user manuals.
- Work closely with developers.
- Determine the need of end users of technical documentation.
- Study product samples.
- Work with technical staff to make product easier to use.
- Use diagrams, charts, photographs, animations that increase user understanding.
- Select appropriate medium for messages or audiences, such as manuals or trainings.
- Gather usability feedback from different stakeholders.
- Revise documents.
