About the role:
As Assistant Manager Research/Learning, you will report to the Senior Manager RMEL and will be responsible for all research and learning activities within PSI Pakistan.
What you’ll do:
· Plan, coordinate/manage and conduct research activities qualitative and quantitative as per project requirement.
· Implement the study design process for all research activities and act as a primary point person for all research activities.
· Support & oversee in performance in subcontracting external research agencies as and when required.
· Analyze & report data from studies, disseminate information to relevant stakeholders (internal and external).
· Assist the Senior Manager RMEL in developing and writing program/research reports suitable for a variety of audiences including internal non-M&E staff, project partners, donor, and international forums.
· Assist in implementation of already established tools and systems, to gather, analyze and disseminate project information and ensure compliance with reporting and data quality requirements of donors and PSI.
· Synthesize learning to contribute to filling knowledge gaps in the evidence base.
· Support Senior Manager RMEL in drafting and finalizing learning agenda.
· Assist Senior Manager RMEL in translating learnings into knowledge products.
· Support the Senior Manager RMEL wherever required for the project.
· Any other work- related task assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Required Skills and Experience (This includes previous experience and soft skills)
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in social sciences and/or Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Social Sciences or any related field will be a plus.
· Ideally 3-5 years of experience in research and learning- development sector experience would be a plus.
· Intermediate data analysis skills including proficiency in using and generating analytical reports from statistical software such as SPSS and Stata.
