We are looking for an experienced AWS/Infrastructure/DevOps resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the field, working with a variety of AWS services, including IAM, EBS, EC2, S3 Lambda, security, load balancing, IP/network configuration, and monitoring. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working with databases, deployment tools, and scripting languages.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications
- Manage and optimize AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, and Elastic Beanstalk
- Create and maintain scripts for automation of infrastructure and application deployment and scaling
- Work on Linux administration, maintaining and troubleshooting servers and services
- Experience setting up cron jobs, and backups for Volumes, DB,file systems, and servers.
- Manage Code deployments, releases, rollbacks, and automation
- Ensure security and compliance with network and data security best practices.
- Help design and implement high availability and failover solutions
- Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of the infrastructure and applications
- Continuously improve and optimize infrastructure and tooling for better reliability and scalability
- Provide on-call support for critical systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure role
- Strong experience with AWS administration, including security, monitoring, load balancing, IAM, EBS, EC2, and Lambda
- Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with data backup and recovery
- Experience with security and networking, including firewall and VPN configurations
- Experience with deployment and automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Some experience with database and database administration
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Cloudwatch, Elasticsearch, and Kibana
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
