We are searching for a PHP developer to build web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops secure, maintainable, user-friendly software.
- Designs systems that adhere to security and process compliance.
- Works with product owners to refine requirements, as well as to understand the benefit
- Collaborates with application teams across AoU on systems integrations and best practices.
- Collaborates with cloud and DevOps engineers on application infrastructure, automation, deployment, and security.
- Maintains and enhances CI/CD pipelines.
- Stays current with contemporary software engineering best practices.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong experience with developing web applications using PHP.
- Strong experience using PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.
- Strong in JavaScript and working knowledge of frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience with the Bootstrap framework is preferred.
- Strong in source control systems (preferably git), including branching strategies and resolving merge conflicts.
- Strong experience with code review processes via pull/merge request reviews.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with cloud engineering in environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong knowledge of DBMS’s, including database architecture and query opStrong understanding of common web security topics such as authentication/authorization, XSS, SQL injection, etc.
