Bedari, a leading women and child rights NGO, is anticipating to implement a project “Women empowerment through improved access to economic opportunities’’. In this project 19,800 women with and without disabilities in 40 villages of district Peshawar, Nowshehra, Mirpurkhas and Malir in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa and Sindh provinces would benefit from social protection and social services or generate income through employment, self-employment (vocational skills trainings) or small-scale businesses.

Core responsibilities:

  • Organize audio and video conferences
  • Review incoming correspondence, collect and prepare necessary information for reply/action, and draft and finalize responses;
  • Handle all mailings including bulk mailings of publications and finalize responses to accompany publications;
  • Prepare travel authorization and make travel arrangements
  • Maintain an office filing system and assist in archiving
  • Maintain and update project files, including project progress reports, work plans and budgets in compliance with Bedari project management guidelines
  • Track project expenditures and monitor the expenditure using all available analytic tools
  • Carry out any other duties as may be required by the project district coordinators 

Minimum Qualification & Transferable Skills

  • Experience in supporting a team of at least 10 to 20 persons
  • Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and persuasion skills
  • Strong ability to work independently, including the ability to multitask, prioritize competing tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
