Bestax is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting professional with expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as general ledger management. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in accounting functions, demonstrating strong organizational skills and accuracy in financial record keeping. This role requires proficiency in internet browsing, a basic understanding of computer operations, and the ability to use Microsoft Excel and email effectively for communication and documentation.
The Accounting professional will handle critical financial data and transactions for Bestax, ensuring all accounting records are maintained accurately and timely. This position does not involve team management but focuses on individual contribution to support the companys financial operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions accurately and reconciling accounts regularly.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and summaries for internal use and auditing purposes.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform monthly and annual account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data, preparing spreadsheets and reports as required.
- Communicate effectively via email to coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payment queries and transaction status.
- Utilize internet resources for research, financial updates, and verification of billing information when necessary.
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries promptly.
- Assist with basic computer tasks to maintain electronic financial records and documentation efficiently.
