Position: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Reporting to: Project Director

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual with strong stakeholder management, reporting, communication and analytical skills who is committed to deliver excellence to projects.

Stakeholder & business process management

  •  Elicit requirements using business process analysis and competitive product analysis; conduct gap analysis and present summary of findings.
  • Leverage the industry knowledge to help stakeholders build insightful personas of targeted business users. 
  • Create concise yet detailed functional specification documentation, business requirement documentation, user stories and storyboards.
  • Compliance to day-to-day change requests, while challenging the status quo as needed.
  • Effective reporting against upcoming milestones, project status, risks and dependencies.
  • Foresee and document project challenges and communicate before they become project risks.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer among the development team and project leads.
  •  Market & competitor analysis
  •  Maintain statistics and analysis for UAE real estate market, and serve as a market expert with extensive knowledge of the macro and micro factors affecting the market.
  •  Improve project development by providing real-time market analyses to bridge the gap between the requirements, scope, timeline and overall project goals.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities to influence the business strategy.

Tools & Techniques

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, Jira and Kanban boards.
  • Great at presenting information through visual tools and techniques.
  •  Writing functional design documents, business process documents and detailed user stories.
  •  Working experience within Agile/Waterfall (Hybrid) environment

Desired qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or relevant field.
  •  3-5 years of experience as a business analyst in tech and/or software development.
  • Deep knowledge of property auctioning, PropTech and real estate dynamics.
  • Ability to clearly document software requirements and specifications for Information Systems.
  •  Communication skills (presentation, active listening, ability to build consensus).
  • Proactive and independent, able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and delivery focus.

Preferred qualifications

  • Support the Product owner in defining and prioritizing the Product Backlog (Epics, User Stories and Acceptance Criteria).
  • Strong process mapping and process re-engineering skills.
