  • Seerbytes is looking for a Senior web Developer with ideally 5 to 10 years of professional experience to become part of our UK headquartered, award-winning software development company, offering the latest in technology and innovation to clients across the globe.
  • You’ll be part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full website & software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, including scalable solutions. In addition, you would be comfortable with innovating and coming up with answers to complex problems that haven't been solved before.
  • As a senior developer/engineer, you must be comfortable around both front-end and back-end, server management and setup, latest relevant coding languages and development frameworks using best market practices including familiarity with third-party libraries.
  • You will also be expected to have significant team leading and management experience - including mentoring and coaching.
  • You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, and strong attention to detail with global experience of complex software development.
  • Experience in mobile apps would be beneficial as part of leading teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with and manage Web/Apps/software development teams and product managers to ideate solutions
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Client requirements translation into scope/budgets and development / programming interfaces
  • Quality code and proper testing framework
  • Lead and Build front-end and back-end applications and software including enterprise software, with appealing visual design (working with our UI/UX experts)
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write and deploy effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Write technical documentation in fantastic English including developing pitch decks and presentations for clients
  • Manage clients and projects
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

 Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a senior developer and software engineer or similar role
  • Experience developing desktop and mobile applications and software
  • Familiarity with common stacks
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React/Angular)
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. NodeJS, ASP.Net, PHP CORE, ASP.NET MVC, Python CORE, PHP Laravel) and JavaScript frameworks for client side (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL), web servers (e.g. Apache)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail with an eye for good design and UX
  • Organisational and team management skills
  • An analytical mind with a creative element
  • Degree in Computer Science, Programming, Statistics or relevant field
  • Proficient in English - written and spoken to an international standard
