- Responsible for maintaining stock levels for a pharmacy by purchasing products such as drugs, medical equipment, over-the-counter medicine, and bandages.
- Responsible for controlling costs, implementing inventory management procedures, purchasing inventory, processing orders, distributing pharmaceuticals, negotiating with vendors to obtain the best prices, and monitoring pharmaceuticals prices.
- Lead negotiations with existing and new suppliers for the lowest cost and highest value.
- Managed contracts with suppliers.
- Follows established procedures for inventory management including but not limited to daily medication order to meet par levels.
- Ensure vehicles are properly checked and they are properly maintaining the temperature logs.
- Performs inventory duties necessary to maintain the accuracy of the inventory of drug supplies. Daily reconciliation of physical inventory with an inventory tracking system.
- Other suitable duties assigned by Management as required or in line with the position competencies.
- Ensuring the availability of drugs, stocking, and pricing of medications in inventory
