Bioron Pharma is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer to manage and maintain the companys financial records with accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate holds an MBA in Finance, B.Com, or is ICMA part qualified, and has at least two years of relevant experience in accounting functions. This role is essential for ensuring timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and performing bank reconciliations to support the companys financial health and compliance.
The Accounts Officer will work independently without managing a team, concentrating on generating accurate financial documentation and reports. The candidate is expected to apply strong analytical skills to handle trial balance reconciliation and journal entry processing while adhering to internal controls and accounting standards. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a thorough understanding of accounting principles to support Bioron Pharmas operational effectiveness and financial transparency.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all entries are recorded correctly.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify and confirm the accuracy of financial data.
- Carry out trial balance reconciliations and ensure all ledger balances are in agreement.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to daily financial activities following company policies.
- Monitor and uphold the integrity of general ledger by identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support audits as required.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to accounting processes and workflow efficiencies.
