NOTE: This is a remote work opportunity.
What you'll do:
- Own execution of writing across all Blamore channels, including landing pages, emails, online ads, decks, video scripts, blogs, and more
- Collaborate with the team on content strategy and calendar
- Ensure the writing is clear, compelling, and properly distributed across the web, mobile and social platforms
- Use data, research, and our understanding of psychology to create content experiences tailored to Blamore’s target audience
- Collaborate with the Senior Programs Manager and Social Media Manager on social posts, contests, blogs, and more
- Ensure that all of our writing embodies a consistent voice and friendly tone
- Write transactional, conversion, newsletter, and referral emails
- Develop compelling landing pages that map to ad creative with a heart
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience as a writer in a creative environment, in-house or agency preferred
- A portfolio with content that resonates with customers, yet is differentiated and engaging enough to draw in new, underserved, or overlooked potential customers
- A history of knowing what topics to address at multiple points in the customer journey
- Experience with content planning, writing, and editing
- Organized, solid copy editor, excellent proofreader—you’re meticulous about spelling and punctuation, and pay close attention to detail
- Experience working quickly and efficiently, and keeping pace in a lightning-fast environment You have a history of collaboration to design winning creative messages
- We’re looking for someone who’s knowledgeable, clear, finds connections, has a sense of humor, and loves language (but isn’t a perfectionist)
