We are a UK based company. We are developing a online food ordering platform. We are seeking a very experienced candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience in Hybrid mobile apps. We are developing our application using Ionic Framework version 1 and Firebase. The candidate is required to work from home 5 days a week. Each working day will be 8 hours with 1 hour allowed for lunch time. Saturday and Sunday will be core working days other days can be selected by the candidate.
We will require the candidate to have access to HIGH SPEED internet connectivity at home. We will require the candidate to install remote employee tracking software. The employee will need to have daily remote video conference calls with us to clarify requirements. This is a full time role therefore we are seeking someone who is willing to stay in this role for a long period of time. Attractive Holidays and bank holidays included. Flexibility available to candidates with good work ethic.
We are not looking for a developer who can churn out code. We are looking for someone who is a seasoned developer with a passion for programming writing software with SOLID principles in mind.
The candidate will be required to work on our platform on a daily basis until its production ready. Once its production ready the developer will work on performance, reporting and improvement requests. Daily support queries and bugs will also need attention together with routine setup of new restaurants onto the platform. Basically you will be the single point of technical expertise. You will take direction from Managing director who is a very experienced .Net developer so any design decisions can be verified with him.
Essential for the candidate to have:
- Live Published apps in Google Play Store and Apple iTune store.
- Worked with remote API REST, JSON, and XML.
- Excellent experience with NoSQL Firebase database and google cloud.
- Worked extensively on Javascript, Cordova/Ionic Framework (Must), Angular.JS, Node.JS, and Firebase.
- Worked with Git
- Experienced with third-party libraries and APIs (Payment gateway integration, Location APIs, Google Maps, ESRI Maps, other websites, etc.)
- Social and Phone Authentication
- Worked with HTML and CSS
- Worked with payment gateway integration. We are looking at stripe connect integration.
- Worked with applications based on Geo Location and Geo Fencing.
- Note: This is an urgent requirement so preference will be given to the candidate with sound technical background who is available to join immediately.
