The Company is defining the online gifts industry in the Middle East by being the first end-to-end online gifting solution characterized by superior convenience, quality, cutting-edge web technologies, and unparalleled customer service. We are always on the lookout for talented web designers, and we currently have a vacancy for a full-time Senior web designer to join our high-caliber team. The successful applicant will take a role in web development projects working alongside our team to produce work of the highest standards. He will be responsible for proposing, creating and delivering effective solutions while managing the ongoing work of existing projects. The primary duties of this role include:
- Working closely with the team to maintain and redesign existing eCommerce Portals by using new tools and trends.
- Designing and developing websites with intuitive functionality and an enjoyable user experience at the core;
- Continuously improving designs of in-house ERP, eCommerce & Reporting tool
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- At least 5 years experience in Web designing
- Extensive experience in Photoshop
- In depth knowledge of HTML4, HTML5, CSS, Javascript
- Demonstrable experience of designing accessible websites and ensuring they work across a wide variety of browsers and devices;
- Proven experience of building e-commerce websites;
- Proven ability to produce reliable, compatible HTMLs/CSS;
- Knowledge of international web standards and protocols.
