BlueEX is seeking a responsible and skilled Bike Rider to join our delivery workforce. The ideal candidate ensures the safe and timely transportation of packages and goods while adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies. As a critical part of our logistics team, the Bike Rider supports reliable delivery services by navigating assigned routes efficiently and maintaining positive interactions with customers. Prior experience of at least one year in a similar role is required, along with a valid driving license and successful police verification.
The Bike Rider at BlueEX plays a vital role in maintaining our reputation for dependable and safe deliveries. This position demands excellent time management and communication skills, combined with a thorough knowledge of safe riding practices and local traffic regulations. The candidate must demonstrate professionalism and a proactive approach to problem-solving on the road. While this role does not include team management responsibilities, collaboration with the broader delivery and operations team is essential to fulfill daily delivery goals successfully.
Responsibilities
- Operate a motorcycle or bike safely and responsibly while delivering packages and documents to various locations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and reduce fuel consumption.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a high standard of safety.
- Handle and transport packages carefully to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate successful deliveries and address any issues promptly.
- Verify delivery details such as recipient identity, address, and package condition to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain necessary delivery logs and document any incidents or delays during transit.
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the motorcycle to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Demonstrate professionalism and a customer-centric attitude during all delivery interactions.
- Complete police verification and hold a valid driving license as mandated by the company and regulatory authorities.
