BNS, a furniture brand based near Central Park Lahore, is hiring a Company Accountant. The role requires at least five years of accounting experience and strong knowledge of financial reporting, account management, and accounting software. You will manage financial records, support budgeting processes, and supervise a small team to ensure accurate and efficient accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions with accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and statements in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and financial reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team member to promote professional growth and effective team operations.
- Utilize accounting software proficiently to streamline financial processes and improve reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial workflow efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines in all financial activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement appropriate controls to safeguard company assets.
