Borialas Enterprises is a sports goods manufacturing and export company working with innovative custom sports brands, including companies such as RAGE Custom.
We are involved in the production of modern, customized sports products, including composite padel rackets, hockey sticks, and other performance sports equipment. Our work is different from traditional sports goods manufacturing because we focus on customization, small-batch production, design accuracy, fast turnaround, and process-driven execution.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a capable and experienced Sports Goods Production Manager who can take ownership of our production operations and help us grow in a more systematic, professional, and scalable way.
About the Role
This is a key production leadership role for someone who understands sports goods manufacturing and knows how to run a production unit properly.
We are looking for a self-motivated, growth-oriented, and systems-driven person who has worked in a strong manufacturing environment and can bring that knowledge into our expanding setup.
The ideal candidate should have experience in composite sports goods, especially products such as padel rackets, hockey sticks, rackets, bats, or similar items.
This role is not just about daily supervision. We need someone who can improve production speed, accuracy, quality, discipline, reporting, workflow, and SOP-based execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of 22 employees, ensuring clear roles, accountability, and performance standards.
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards and minimize defects across all product lines.
- Coordinate inventory management to ensure adequate supplies and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
- Monitor production scheduling and capacity planning to balance workload and maximize use of manufacturing resources.
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance production workflows, reduce waste, and increase output quality.
- Establish and maintain systems and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.
- Implement effective communication channels within the production team and across departments for smooth operations.
- Solve production issues with a practical, hands-on approach, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
- Foster a culture of ownership and responsibility, encouraging team members to take initiative and contribute ideas.
- Work independently with strong organizational skills, proactively managing priorities and deadlines.
- Support scaling efforts by analyzing production capabilities and suggesting infrastructure or process enhancements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sports goods manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies within the production unit.
