Boss Technology seeks an experienced Operations Manager specializing in PDI and Modisoft back-office systems to enhance daily operations across multiple retail locations. The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of two years of relevant experience and demonstrates strong competency in managing inventory, vendor relationships, and retail operational processes, particularly within the U.S. gas station or convenience store sectors. This role focuses on driving operational accuracy, process compliance, and efficiency without direct team management responsibilities, while supporting store-level onboarding and training for back-office workflows.
The Operations Manager leads the execution and continuous improvement of inventory management, pricing, stock monitoring, and vendor coordination. They analyze sales reports, cash reconciliations, and operational data to identify shrinkage trends and operational discrepancies. Strong organizational and communication skills allow this role to effectively coordinate with store teams and vendors remotely. This position is integral in maintaining data integrity and streamlining operational processes to support business success across multiple retail environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily back-office operations effectively utilizing PDI and Modisoft systems.
- Execute inventory management tasks including item setup, pricing updates, and ongoing stock monitoring.
- Analyze sales reports and cash reconciliation statements to detect and address shrinkage and discrepancies.
- Coordinate consistently with store teams and vendors to ensure operational accuracy and timely execution.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date reporting, identifying and troubleshooting issues related to back-office systems.
- Drive improvements in operational workflows, enhancing efficiency and ensuring compliance across multiple retail locations.
- Support and facilitate the onboarding and training of store personnel on back-office processes and systems.
- Oversee vendor relationship management and contract negotiation activities to optimize supply chain performance.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to established inventory control procedures to minimize losses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in retail operations and inventory management.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret operational data and recommend actionable solutions.
- Manage multiple location operations remotely while maintaining a high level of organizational detail and execution.
